Changing the Hearts and Minds of the Next Generation: Working with Scouts

OSTB has had the good fortune to be introduced to the world of Scouting. Through Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA and Girl Scouting, we have the unique opportunity to spread disability awareness to the next generation. Whether it's a belt loop, merit badge, pin, or whatever device is used, all scouts have the opportunity to learn about disabilities and realize that we are just like you, we just have some different challenges to navigate in life. 

We would love to visit your unit in the WNY area and assist your scouts. We have programs in place for the Cub Scout Disability Awareness Belt Loop, we are currently developing programming for the Scouts BSA Disability Awareness Merit Badge and would also love to assist with the GSA ability and inclusion programming for your troop.
